For the last 16 years, chocolate has been my life and my passion. I stumbled upon chocolate unexpectedly back when I was supposed to become a doctor.
But life had other plans.
Chocolate has taken me on an extraordinary journey. I've worked for some of the best chefs in the industry and gained experience that has proven invaluable to my own success.
Over my career, I've absorbed a lot, overcome many challenges, and had a side chocolate business that failed after 8 years. At which point, I learned a very important lesson: in order to truly succeed as a chocolatier, you must learn the BUSINESS side as well.
I then invested in my first business coach, and the rest is history.
I rebranded and launched Codinha Chocolate in 2020. It became recognized as one of the Top Chocolatiers and Confectioners in America 2023 by the International Chocolate Salon, and was awarded Top Artisan Chocolatier Los Angeles 2022.
I am also a mom, a wife, host of the I Heart Chocolate Podcast, motivational speaker, and mentor to chocolatiers worldwide, alongside my talented and amazing husband, Bruno Codinha.
My mission is to help other chocolatiers truly transform their passion into a successful business via 1:1 mentorship and group coaching. With clarity, conviction, and consistency, I know you can create a business and a life that you love.
I Heart Chocolate Podcast shares chocolatier experiences and gives an in-depth look at the reality of being a chocolate entrepreneur. It features interviews with renown chefs in the industry, along with experts on mindset, sales, and business.
